How will Customs effect me and my business as a TRADER / EXPORTER?
Customs is all about identifying the exact commodity details of your goods, and ensuring you understand tax implications ?? (MS Not sure). You must also provide your supply chain (freight forwarders etc) with this information so they can make sure smooth transit to your customer the IMPORTER.
How does this work?
When you use CL you:-

Make sure each commodity has the correct commodity code assigned. We can help you with this, using our tariff classification service.
Upload your Haulier list so you can send collection / delivery requests
Upload your Importers list
Customs declarations (Usually called a C88)

Goods Vehicles Movement Systems
ATA Carnet
When goods are exported and imported.

Goods move through a country, to deliver and clear in another country
