The logistics envelope, which is currently optional for the pairing and transmission of export EU references (and import EU), will become compulsory with ELO - Enveloppe Logistique Obligatoire.

The ELO has been in use from 28th April 2025 and will become compulsory from 20th April 2026.

We support funeral directors across Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland with their customs clearance requirements when repatriating the deceased.

At CustomsLink, we provide a service you can count on, so the families counting on you can have a stress-free service for their loved ones.

Find out more

When you choose CustomsLink you can onboard a list of hauliers who work for you. By doing this, once you have them set up, you can send them invites to contribute their transport information and you can send them documents electronically.

Certainly, we can assist with moving cars, motorcycles, boats, or similar vehicles. To ensure we provide the best service, we would need some additional information

  • Is the vehicle for personal use or has it been purchased?
  • What documentation do you currently have (e.g., import/export paperwork)?
  • What is the destination country?
  • Will the vehicle be transported as accompanied or unaccompanied freight?

Once we have these details, we’ll be able to guide you through the process and ensure everything runs smoothly.

2 hours is the minimum time but the EU recommend at least 24 hours in advance.

Stop words/phrases are being introduced in the Common Repository as part of the initiative to improve ENS data quality. They are being applied for all ICS2 countries and all filing types.

Below is an updated list of stop words published by the EU. As a reminder, a stop word used in isolation in the goods description will result in the declaration being rejected.

After several days' lack of sleep, worrying about customs paperwork for a Calais - Folkestone Channel Tunnel Freight trip, Mel just sorted it. She was so reassuring and I can now enjoy the weekend. Thank you, Mel. You are a star!
